Since 2021, the processing volume and purchase prices of various woolen raw materials have shown an overall upward trend. From January to September, the total amount of imported wool was 227,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 35.5%, which was 1.1% higher than the level of the same period in 2019. Among them, greasy wool imported 195,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 39.1% and an increase of 1.9% from the first half of 2019. Imports of other animal fibers totaled 18,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 65.2%. Since the beginning of this year, the monthly average price of imported wool has risen. The average price in September fell by 2.3% month-on-month, which was an increase of 19% from the average price in January. The price of imported animal wool fluctuated greatly. The price fell 16%. In comparison, the average price of exported cashmere rose by 2.2% month-on-month in September, an increase of 25.7% from the average price in January.

　　 From January to September, the total import and export value of woolen raw materials and products was 13.15 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 36% year-on-year. Among them, the total export value was 9.34 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 31% year-on-year. The total export value of products of different raw materials has shown an increase. Among them, the export of wool and products totaled US$2.7 billion, an increase of 17% year-on-year, and the total export of cashmere and products totaled US$1.2 billion, an increase of 40% year-on-year. The export market of woolen products has become more diversified, and the proportion of traditional export markets has been declining. During the same period, China-ASEAN wool textile products trade totaled 1.1 billion US dollars, an increase of 22% year-on-year. Among them, China's exports to ASEAN increased by 21% year-on-year, and China's imports to ASEAN increased by 36% year-on-year.
